Education practitioners, including teachers, teaching assistants, head and deputy or assistant head teachers and SENCOs working in different education settings can make an active contribution to the research of Pathline network members. We are open and welcoming to education practitioners who wish to become members of our Education Practitioner network, as part of our research and patient and public involvement (PPI) initiatives.

Teachers can volunteer to participate in a range of activities to help members with their research on child and adolescent mental health through 1:1 or group interviews (in-person or online), or by giving feedback on written documents or audiovisual materials. You will be reimbursed for their time through vouchers or payments.
One example research activity is this illustrated poster and accompanying information booklet for teachers on puberty and the mental health of children and young people. Teachers, young people, parents and mental health practitioners were consulted with about the written content for these resources.
